Theme Parks in Japan
It may be surprising but Japanese people are quite fond of theme and amusement parks and many of these facilities can be found in the archipelago. Japan-inspired theme parks are obviously popular, but big international brands (especially American ones) are also deeply rooted in the country.
One of the characteristics of Japanese theme parks is their high attendance (especially on weekends, public holidays and school breaks), which can create never ending waiting lines. Entrance fees are also quite expensive, but do not prevent families to come, and they even can spend a lot in purchasing goodies and souvenirs.
Brands and parks often collaborate in order to continuously renew their offer. They keep on developing trendy attractions to attract new customers and maintain their regular’s attendance.
