Planning to go to Nagasaki and the surrounding areas up to Kyoto in the fall 2024

I'm a 27 year old woman, living in California and studying Japanese. I'm looking for someone who lives in California and wants to be my friend and go with me to Japan in the fall of 2024. I will be going to celebrate my birthday. I am planning it out in the future as I want to have time to study efficiently so I'm able to communicate. I'm really looking for a friend who has a good level of Japanese, like N2 or N1, or fluency. I'd like to visit cultural centers and enjoy Japanese nature and history. I'd also like to see Japanese Catholic churches and maybe attend mass as often as I can (I'm Catholic and going to Japan is a bit of a spiritual adventure for me).

I'd like to spend approximately 15-17 days in Japan, excluding the first and last days of the trip. My budget is approximately $5,000 by I am flexible. I'd like to stay in a traditional hotel and have traditional experiences as much as possible. I prefer rural Japan and things that are off the beaten path, so to speak. I'm a late riser and I like to go to bed late. I work remotely

I'm up to exploring almost anything. I'm flexible and am looking to stay humble and have a good time. I'd like to see what Christianity is like in Japan, the historical sites, tea ceremonies, the vast history of Japan, and seeing life from a traditional Japanese angle. I'm especially into the old and ancient side of Japan.

I'd prefer a woman to travel with, but a man is ok too. Ages up to 35 or around that.
