Looking for travel companion for cycling the Shimanami Kaido in August 2023

Hi,
I'm Johannes, 21 years old, from Germany. I'm looking for someone to cycle the Shimanami Kaido (from Onomichi to Imabari) with in August (no date set yet). I found an alternative route I'd be interested in: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36359725 (not necessarily exactly that route).
I'm planning to spend three days, most of the time cycling with accommodations along the way (maybe have a few drinks in the evenings) and I'd also like to take a detour to Rabbit Island during that trip.

Of course I am open for suggestions (routing, detours, accommodations, date). My travel buddy should be around my age, preferably speak German. Before the trip, I would like to do at least one or two video chats or maybe even meet in person so we won't be complete strangers when meeting in Japan. I am introverted and tend to stutter, so I'm not really talkative, but still appreciate a bit of banter or a good conversation!
