Hi there!
I’m planning on visiting Japan in April 2023 for three to four weeks. I will start in Tokyo, travel to Kyoto, Osaka and possibly other cities, then back to Tokyo.
I’m looking to speak with others travelling at that time but mainly locals who would like to make friends with a British man and show him around!
A bit about me -
I currently live in Brighton, UK which is a seaside city in the south east of England. I will be 40 when I visit but act very much younger and get along best with those who are aged 25-35. I’m gay, if that might be a problem, and am open to meeting all types of people.
I’d love to experience as much as possible when visiting and am open to doing whatever there is to do!

I like to visit Japan for the second time ( first time in 2003) as govt of India officer.
Now with my wife during Feb-Mar 2022 for 10-15 days and like to visit Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Aomori, Shiga and some other, when like to interact local people, interested for India and indian and like to make friendship and who will help me visiting, staying in these places. Equally, I wish to help them visiting India, as my guest with the feeling of my brother/sister.

I’m Paula and I’m from San Antonio, Texas, USA. I am planning going on the trip to Japan, either May, June, or July in 2023. As for right now, I am considered as “undecided” because I want to prepare everything before going to Japan. The places I want to are Tokyo and Kyoto. I might planning to stay for a month and then returning back to United States. I had no problem at all to hang out with anyone, regarding the sexual orientation. I’m a straight ally. I'm Babar, a 30 year old guy from London and planning to start in Tokyo ideally followed by hokkaido (can't say no to beer, cheese and beef). I'm looking to go 03/04-09/04 for the full holiday, more than willing to adjust the post tokyo dates and destinations based on other people (wouldn't say no to osaka or places train journeys from tokyo can reach, I'm new to japan after all).
I'm a quote unquote cis het male but have several close lgbqtia+ friends. However I'm English, so depending on how camp you are and how drunk I am at the izakaya, my "wit and banter" might come out lol. I have a problem where I get too familiar and jovial with people I'm hanging out with XD
I can understand Japanese fluently but my speaking is mid level, I haven't taken an official test but I speak better that my coworker married to a japanese person for 15 years, assuming that's a metric lol. As long as japanese people aren't talking about politics, I should be able keep up with them 😂.

I’m in my late 20’s and I’m visiting from April 13- June 13
It would be my first time visiting Japan ever and I hope to do south Korea as well
I hope to explore explore mainly Hokkaido in April (want to rent a car and drive around. I would be flying into into Tokyo first so I’ll likely explore tokyo first (Osaka Kyoto is a given)
Towards end of May and June If you’re interested in going towards our west to Hiroshima, Kagoshima etc let me know :)

Hey there,
I am Britta, 33, from Germany and finally want to make it happen to go to Japan this year, starting in April, I don't have any fixed plans in my head yet, just start in Tokio and as well would be interested in taking an overnight trip on the train or ferry to some other nice destinations. Since I am quite an introvert, who needs a little bit to adjust and some beers help as well, I would be happy, to not do this completely on my own.
Would be nice, to get in touch with somebody who is up for starting this trip together, I would at least stay for 4 weeks or even longer.

I'm Arya, late 20s, India. Travelling to Japan for a week or two in April 2023, dates flexible. Although I have the Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara route in my mind, I am open to switching to an offbeat circuit to beat the tourist rush, especially for the cherry blossoms. Looking to explore Edo neighbourhoods, shrines, hikes and culture, but also working in a trip to studio Ghibli or cosplay gokarting and the kind. Some transportation and accomodation budgeting ideas are in place too. Please let me know if any of you kindfolk are interested, I'd be delighted to have the company.
