Experienced Japan Traveler seeks able bodied companion for Matsue/Izumo side trip and Fukuoka April 2021
1 answer
From April 01, 2021 to April 30, 2021
I am an energetic woman of >70 who has been to Japan 6 times in the past 9 years. I am an Architect and Photographer and can get around very easily with my meager Japanese skills and a smile. This return trip in April of 2021 (assuming there is a Covid vaccine) I am dealing with a bad shoulder and though I travel very light, I would like to meet up with solo explorer who might be of physical assistance, but who is an independent adventurer. My preference is for someone over 30.
In exchange for assistance, I will cover cost of basic lunch and dinner, or if independent dining, I will pay 5000yen to help me with my backpack from my hotel near Kyoto Station (or alternatively from Okayama) to hotel in Matsue or Izumo and back again, or at minimum to train again.
I am planning on a two-three day excursion to Matsue and Izumo and potentially a similar length visit to Fukuoka.
Companion should be independent traveler who will pay for their own room/transportation and whose first language is English. I will help you as I am proficient in transportation and in photography of shrines and temples.
